This all-around basic standing posture stretches the back and legs, as well as relieves back pain and calms the nerves. Be mindful of how You are shifting Your body weight from heels to toes in this pose and be sure to do it slowly without tilting forward too much, as You might hurt Your neck by doing so. If You have lower back problems, do the pose half-way with hands on the floor right under the shoulders.
