Closer look at another foundational pose for the entire body, which strengthens and lengthens all limbs, torso and back. This is a good pose to develop stamina and encourage rapid movement of energy from the bottom of the feet to the tips of the fingers, which makes it not the best pose to practice too close to bed time. Contraindications include issues with blood pressure, insomnia and migraines.
