In this class, we take on yoga as a more wholesome system in a matter of an hour, checking into some breath work at the beginning, some vinyasa and asana in the middle and, after corpse pose shavasana, finish off with a shortened Zen meditation. The peak pose will be virabhadrasana IV, warrior IV. This asana is also known as humble warrior, as it emphasizes strength, which enables us to surrender in appropriate situations. We dig into our hips and groins via baddhakonasana (bound angle pose) and mandukasana (full frog pose). You will be guided through a brief relaxation, as well as a meditation on Your inner being. This should leave You feeling refreshed and energized, yet fairly calm.
