This is a 20-minute meditation focusing on the vertical flow of energy. We work with our central energy channel known as the Sushumna nadi and identify with the energy around us. This is a great practice to soothe feelings of discontent, or dismissal. The meditation has an uplifting effect, but can also work as a balancing practice (e.g. for chakras). It is recommended that You find a seated meditation posture, where You can maintain an upright spine, so if You usually meditate on Your back, please try to resist that urge for this technique. If You are new to longer meditations and have problems easing into it, sit with Your back against the wall or in a chair. This is especially good for those perceiving their environment as threatening or experiencing fears and phobias.
