A nice meditation practice, which is also suitable for beginners. In this seance, we use the breath as our meditation object, exploring its expansive, liberating and transformational qualities. Focusing on the breath does not eventually lead us to deep meditation, but it is the perfect place to start shifting our awareness into the present moment, develop our dharana or concentration and quiet the mind. These preconditions in turn are necessary, to eventually find ourselves in deeper meditative states and cultivate our meditation practice further.
