Long hatha yoga seance, where we do the necessary to prepare our bodies for more traditional and demanding seated meditation poses. These asanas are tough, as they require supple body and lubricated joints. For that reason, we take on a thorough journey of sun salutes, standing poses and seated poses, which open up the body and warm up muscles to create stability. Class includes balance poses garudasana and natarajasana, krounchasana and ardha bhekasana, leading up to key poses virasana (hero pose) and padmasana (lotus pose). After a lengthy savasana relaxation, we will try out one of the key seats in meditation to close off the practice - Namaste!
