This is the second video of the Pratyahara practice series. Pratyahara, the fifth limb of Patanjali´s yoga system, bridges the gap between Pranayama and Dharana, as before the senses can be controlled, one must gain energetic control, whereas after sense withdrawal, one can work more intently with concentration and move closer to meditation. You will be guided through a Pratyahara practice focusing on the smelling sense, so be ready to work with scents. During the seance, we will withdraw the sense from the outer environment and point it towards the inner environment, so as to use it on a more subtle level. This in turn will enable us to have more control over the impressions that we allow to be recorded into our (sub)consciousness.
